Philanthropy
Breast Cancer Education & Awareness
Zeta Tau Alpha’s national philanthropy is breast cancer education and awareness—a cause that is deeply personal, as one in eight women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. This disease touches countless lives, and ZTA is committed to making a difference. Since 1992, ZTA collegiate and alumnae members have championed this mission through national and local partnerships, campus and community initiatives, and the distribution of millions of pink ribbons. By promoting education and awareness, ZTA members are united in the fight to end breast cancer. Every collegiate and alumnae chapter supports this national cause through the ZTA Foundation while also engaging in local service projects to meet the unique needs of their communities.
